Frequently Asked Questions
For your heat pump installation to be eligible for the BUS grant you must:
- Own the home in which it will be installed in.
- Require an up-to-date Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
- Have a total heat energy requirement below 45 kW (this is unlikely to be above in 99.9% of UK homes).
- Have a previous heating system at the property that is fossil fuel based.
There is no simple answer to this, as there are many variables. The starting point for all heat pump installations is understanding the heat loss of your home, so please contact us for more information.

- Whether you need to upgrade your pipework and radiators.

Regular servicing is vital for your heating system to run as efficiently as possible and to prolong its lifespan. Manufacturers will not warranty any products without proof of servicing after 12 months, so keeping an up-to-date service record is important to ensuring your heat pump and boiler are protected.
