A stunning and extremely rare barn conversion situated on the outskirts of the historical town of Wantage and close to the beautiful North Wessex Downs countryside.
After a thorough heat loss calculation and design, a Daikin Altherma 3 Monobloc unit was chosen to provide heating and hot water to this four-bedroom, five-bathroom house. The house features primarily underfloor heating both upstairs and downstairs, with towel radiators in the bathrooms. We designed the system to a Delta T of 5°C on the primary side and 7°C on the secondary side, with a flow temperature of 35°C to balance comfort and efficiency.
